Impala

Here’s a drawing I did this weekend of a male and female impala. I want to get a more abstract style going…it’s more appealing to me at the moment. It’s a challenge!

Beautiful! The one on the right looks very Regal
Dear Eleanor,
Brazilian admirer is back. First of all, yeah, you did get the “muito obrigada” right.
I read your post about how people criticized your work in a negative way. I’ve always preferred people to criticize the kinda person I am rather than criticizing my intellectual production. It’s like saying that your son is ugly. Comments like that take us to a very unknown, undeveloped and unexplored part of ouselves: our pride.
It took me a while to realize that I have to listen to those things paying attention to the content and not the negative intention in them. I still don’t know how to do that quite well.
You have a menthor. So what? You always give Parker all the credit for that! You always say how much he inspired you. You’ve never said that you wanna steal his place, especially because you know that’s impossible. He is him, you are you. People should know that. And if they don’t, visit Parker’s website and read his interviews! Don’t bother someone who’s just doing her (amazing) job.
Hopefully, many other people agree with me. Keep doing what we love: great art.
Peace!
Thank you so much, Paula and Sandy! I love these two also and I’m planning to print them in the new year.
