Kit Cats

I drew these two kitties today and I’m not sure about which version I like better. In a way, the simplicity of the first one is appealing. Any thoughts?

I really love the first one.
the pattern kinda takes away
from the abstraction to me
adds back the details you
took away. at the same time
im a sucker for patterns so,
I like them both
i really enjoy the subtle pattern! and i love cats!
Hi Eleanor,
I like the first cat… I thought maybe you could carry the same crescent shape of the moon and tail into the cat’s hind leg area as a subtle flat grey color.
It may be a nice final little touch to your awesome design. Let me know when it’s
for sale!

I like the first one–don’t ask me why
I like the first cat. I like the crescent shape of the moon and how you carried it to the cat’s tail. It may work well if you use the same crescent shape (maybe smaller) in the hind leg area in the same color as the pattern in the bottom cat.
Please let me know when this awesome design will be ready for sale!
Thanks, guys! Yeah, I think the first one really is more eye-catching, but I’m thinking that I might add in a subtle pattern as a varnish to catch the light at certain angles.
The first one all the way!!!
