This week’s colorscheme is taken directly from an inspired bouquet at Whole Foods. The artist is this bloom among blooms.

I’ve been getting some really lovely requests for animal illustrations recently. Among my favorites were the greyhound and the guinea pig. I have yet to master the form of the latter, but here’s my version of a greyhound in purple and navy blue.

This week I definitely want to write at least one entry! Here’s my choice for colorscheme of the week. Grey goes really well with a punchy color like Raspberry red or a hint of purple. And a great complement to all three is mint green.
