I just put this lovely deer head up in my house – it’s from the sale rack at Anthropologie for $299. A lot of money, but since it’s on sale, the more you spend the more you save! (I hope I believe that!)

The Superest is a great site run by my friends Matt Sutter and Kevin Cornell that pits one made-up superhero against another. Each clever hereo is drawn beautifully! Today, my boyfriend Peter Dalkner created “Fallout Fedora” to pit against “Shredlock.” Check them out!

NYC Stationery Show

I’m just back from half a day of strolling down the lanes of the stationery show. It was pretty great to see what’s going on in the world paper goods, and even better to see my peacock on the front cover of the Chronicle Gift Catalog!! Amazing! I have some cards and a journal coming out this year with them and I got to see it all in reality today.

There was a big letterpress card presence at the show; they were all gorgeous, but the standouts for me were Hammerpress, Nantaka Joy, and Sugarcube Press. Just lovely!!

Colorscheme of the week this week is inspired by the island hues of Koh Phi Phi island in southern Thailand. So pretty!
