I made a little dinosaur repeat lastnight while brainstorming for my upcoming collection with Westminster. I think this could be really cute!

Spring Tablecloth

Why not welcome Spring with a cheap and cheerful tablecloth? I made this one for $5.00 with IKEA teatowels in blue and white. (They come in a pack of four for $2.25!!) Here are the steps:

1. Take three of the cloths and stitch them together by their long sides (I cut the finished edges off first so that I could sew them wrong sides together with the machine, but you could just do a simple hand stitch, or you could get fancy and do a decorative topstitch!) Make sure to combine the patterns so two of the same don’t end up right next to eachother.

2. Sew the remaining cloths along their short sides and combine them with the center section that you made. Align the center of each 2-cloth section with the center of the middle cloth from step 1 (see diagram if that’s confusing)

3. Put finished tablecloth on your table and enjoy!

*This tablecloth is made to fit a round table

Here’s a two-color design for some glass sets that I’d love to have made soon. I think the turquoise/moss is a pretty nice color scheme, but the only thing I’m a bit worried about is the design being a bit busy…

Billy Goats Gruff

This tattoo design is on its way to being done. It’s for my best friend Jenny who, I’m proud to say, has two of my tattoo designs already! I’m going to add in the famous bridge over which the three little goats try to “tramp, tramp, tramp” to get to the green pasture.

I’m working on this custom painting for a new client and it’s quite challenging! The first layers are on right now, and one of the colors is not quite right yet. I’m going to revisit the paint store and find the perfect colors. Also on the list today: find a beautiful canvas floating frame to send it off in when it’s ready!

San Diego Zoo

Here’s an update on the Zoo program: it’s going great and now we’re gonna try to get some more zoos, animal parks, and aquariums to carry our products!

Here’s the update on my skimmer illustration from a couple of months back. I’ve added in some fishies and a nice uneven stripe pattern fill. The background color will most likely change since it’s a bit dull.
