Uh-oh. I was just informed (and it’s true!) that, unfortunately, a Spoonflower competition entry used the elements in my Carousel fabric design. Spoonflower now knows about this and will be contacting the entrant. If you’re looking on my blog and find an image, it’s great to be inspired, but it’s not great to take images for your own use and profit. It’s missing the point of being an individual. I’m sure this entrant would have made a really great design without having to abuse my work.

My friend Brae and I entered our home in the CB2 Selby contest. I can’t believe how beautiful these shots are; Brae has a wonderful eye.  Now all we have to do is get votes!!  Vote for 1722!!

I’m really into this beautiful gold flatware!  The weird thing is it’s really tacky to like gold, but I’m really drawn to it.  I bid on a setting for 12 of the vintage flatware (left) on eBay for $60 and won last night.  So pumped to use it for my first time hosting Thanksgivingin November.

My week here in San Diego is coming to a close.  I’m gonna miss it!  While here, I shopped my stationery line around to Pigment in North Park (pictured), Green Florist, and India Ink.  There are so many cute places here, and I thought that some might want to carry the illustrious Eleanor line!!
